Since its inception, Sonapur College, from its nascent stage to a centre of academic excellence, has proved to be a meeting point for students from diverse ethnic and linguistic backgrounds of the region and beyond. <\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"background-color: transparent; color: #000000; font-family: times new roman; font-size: 16px;\">The College apart from education also intends to foster a spirit of academic excellence with the belief that value-based learning is of great relevance in a dynamic work environment. Students of the college enjoy an easy access to faculty guidance, full staff support, and constant monitoring and supervision at every level of their achieving excellence in their academic pursuits. The college provides students with a range of avenues and opportunities for self-expression, initiative and experimentation in both the intellectual and co-curricular fields. <\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"background-color: transparent; color: #000000; font-family: times new roman; font-size: 16px;\">To commemorate 25 glorious years, Sonapur College as a premier institute began its celebration of Silver Jubilee on 2<\/span><span style=\"background-color: transparent; color: #000000; font-family: times new roman; font-size: 9.6px;\">nd<\/span><span style=\"background-color: transparent; color: #000000; font-family: times new roman; font-size: 16px;\"> and 3<\/span><span style=\"background-color: transparent; color: #000000; font-family: times new roman; font-size: 9.6px;\">rd<\/span><span style=\"background-color: transparent; color: #000000; font-family: times new roman; font-size: 16px;\"> August, 2015 with the gracious presence of many distinguished and eminent personalities as well as the dedicated founders. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"background-color: transparent; color: #000000; font-family: times new roman; font-size: 16px;\">In the previous academic session, the college inaugurated a full fledged Indoor Stadium, Mini Theatre Hall and successfully conducted UGC Sponsored National Seminars and published books and periodicals.
